Berat, Albania/First General Assembly of SEPCA 2025

On June 25, 2025, in the city of Berat, Albania, under the framework of the Albanian Presidency and with support of the Criminal Intelligence Service of Austria (BK), the First SEPCA General Assembly for the year 2025 was held.

The First SEPCA General Assembly was attended by senior police officials from Austria, Bulgaria, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Moldova, the Republic of Srpska, and Serbia, along with the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Gazmend Hoxha. International organizations such as INTERPOL, EUROPOL, CEPOL, SELEC, the EU4FAST WB Project, etc, were also represented.

During the General Assembly, participants had the opportunity to discuss various issues, including the challenges posed by irregular migration and human trafficking, the fight against organized crime, the strengthening of regional cooperation through joint investigation teams, the situation of cybercrime, and other relevant matters.

The event was financed by BK through the Internal Security Fund 2021-2027.
