Online Meeting on updating the SEPCA Threat Assessment Report 2026
On 19th of February 2026, the Police Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in its capacity as the Presidency of the SEPCA for 2026, in cooperation with the Criminal Intelligence Service of Austria (BK), successfully organized an online meeting of analysts from the SEPCA region dedicated to the preparation of the SEPCA Threat Assessment Report 2026.
The meeting was conducted in a highly constructive and professional atmosphere, with the participation of analysts from all SEPCA member institutions, as well as representatives of the SEPCA strategic partner – BK.
During the meeting, participants exchanged relevant information and experiences necessary for the effective and coordinated development of the SEPCA Threat Assessment Report 2026, a strategic document of key importance for the Association. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring a harmonized approach among member institutions, building upon the methodology applied during the previous assessment cycle.
Furthermore, the modalities and framework for the 2026 update process were agreed upon, including the distribution of tasks and timelines for all participating members. The discussions also addressed potential improvements to SEPCA’s analytical methodology, aiming to further strengthen the quality and impact of the final report.
This meeting represents an important step in reinforcing regional cooperation and joint efforts in addressing security challenges, reaffirming SEPCA’s commitment to enhancing analytical capacities and information exchange among its members.
The participants also expressed their readiness to continue close cooperation in the upcoming period, including further activities leading to the finalization of the SEPCA Threat Assessment Report 2026.
