Serbian SEPCA Presidency 2024 – Meeting with the SEPCA Regional Coordinator

The Ministry of Interior of Republic of Serbia has taken over the Presidency of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) in 2024, and during its Presidency several activities are planned to be organized with the support from different partners.
 
Therefore, on January 17, 2024, the SEPCA Team from the Republic of Serbia had a productive meeting in Belgrade with the SEPCA Regional Coordinator, Ms. Elena Gherta from the Criminal Intelligence Service of Austria (BK).
 
The main goal of the meeting was planning the activities during the Serbian SEPCA Presidency 2024 which will be financed by BK through the Internal Security Fund 2021-2027.
 
Thus, together with the support from BK, the following activities will be organized:

  • SEPCA Cybercrime Network Workshop in Vienna, in March 2024; 
  • First SEPCA General Assembly under the Serbian SEPCA Presidency 2024 in Belgrade, in May 2024; 
  • Workshop on updating the SEPCA Threat Assessment Report 2024 in Vienna, in September 2024.

 
The BK is SEPCA’s strategic partner that contributes to enhance SEPCA’s capacities in fighting crime and to secure the region through its expertise and financial support.
